Transcriptions are the result of recording dictation in Confer. Once you finish recording, the audio is processed, a transcription is created, and then the audio is deleted. The transcription will be immediately available, and if you are focused on a text field in an app, the transcription will be pasted inside of it (unless you specify otherwise).
Viewing Transcriptions
In Confer, the Transcriptions view is where you can view, filter, delete, and manage past transcriptions. All of your transcriptions are listed in the main section of this view. You can filter transcriptions using the search bar in the top-right corner of the window or by pressing Cmd + F.

Selecting a transcription opens the right sidebar, where you can view details such as when it was created, processing time, the prompt used, and both the processed and raw outputs.
Reprocess Transcriptions
You can reprocess a transcription by selecting it and clicking the Reprocess button in the right sidebar. This opens the "Run with different prompt" dialog, where you can choose a new prompt to process the transcription with. Once processing is complete, Confer shows the new processed transcription and lets you copy it. Reprocessing creates a new transcription and does not overwrite the original.
