Getting started

Three steps to your first dictation.

It takes about a minute. The docs cover everything after that.

  1. 01 — Install

    Drag Confer into Applications.

    Open Confer-1.0.30.dmg and drag the app into your Applications folder. It lives in the menu bar from then on.

  2. 02 — License

    Paste your license code.

    Start your trial at checkout and you get a license code by email. Paste it into Confer once. No account, no password.

  3. 03 — Talkfn

    Allow the mic, then hold fn.

    Confer asks for microphone and accessibility access, so it can hear you and paste where your cursor is. Then hold fn and talk.
