QuestionsAfter the 7-day free trial, your selected plan starts automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time. Yes. Monthly is $10 per month and includes everything in the yearly plan. Yearly is $96 per year, which works out to $8 per month. No password, no sign-up form. Checkout emails you a license code, and you paste it into Confer once. Your license manages your trial, billing, and which Macs are activated. Transcriptions, sessions, prompts, dictionaries, and settings are stored on your Mac. Audio is sent to Confer only while you are dictating, processed, and not kept on our servers. Local speech models are getting better, but they still miss names, technical terms, and accents, and they make you wait while they load. Confer streams your audio to frontier speech models while you talk, so you get the accuracy of the best models with the feel of a native app. Confer works anywhere you can type or paste: email, notes, browsers, chat apps, editors, terminals, and agent tools. If there is no field to paste into, it shows a review panel so nothing is lost. Confer reconnects automatically, and prompt processing falls back to a second provider. If a dictation still fails, the recording is kept in your local history for 24 hours so you can retry it with one click. Confer is macOS only today and requires Apple Silicon. Windows and iOS are planned. Subscribe to the newsletter below for release updates.
